Last Friday, 89 business groups presented a total of 196 ante-projects that include different generation variants that add 34,834 MW of new thermal power, a value greater than the total installed electricity generation throughout the country (see attached).

In addition, \"Manifestations of Interest\" have been received related to electric energy transportation works and alternative fuel supply solutions, which complement the new generation proposals indicated above, all aimed at reducing the cost of electricity generation.

After such a show of confidence on the part of the potential investors, already evidenced last year both in the emergency thermal generation tender and in the two rounds of the RenovAr Plan, the proposals - provisional and confidential - will be analyzed and evaluated together by SEE and CAMMESA.

Once this step has been completed, the priority projects will be determined and a bidding document will be drawn up in order to call for competition all those interested in them during the first semester of the current year, proceeding then to the evaluation of the offers, their potential adjudication and signature of the respective contracts in the course of 2017.
